School District Guide

West Windsor-Plainsboro
Regional School District

West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional (WW-P) is the single biggest reason many families buy in West Windsor or Plainsboro. One district serves both townships with ten schools and about 8,900 to 9,000 students (2024-25), running two parallel tracks that end at High School North (Plainsboro) and High School South (West Windsor). Both rank among New Jersey's very best by SAT: High School South is 2nd in the state, High School North is 3rd. Because the two towns share the district, buyers can weigh West Windsor's train access against Plainsboro's price points without giving up the schools.

How WW-P ranks

Why SAT, not a ratings site. We lean on average SAT totals rather than crowd-sourced grades like Niche, since the SAT is a single, objective, year-over-year comparable number rather than a weighted opinion score.
